Hollies graduation party will be June 10th at 2 pm! I am so excited to celebrate, Hollie has had two work harder than so many of her peers. She never gave up and was always cheerful. Then all the hours of extra homework help, last minute projects, and events! Statistically children if teenage parents do not tend to graduate and often become young moms themselves and we beat those odds too!!!!

Nathan over the past month has grown soo much. He now pulls himself to a stand will let go to check his balance which of course he has none so he falls. He has said sissy but only when he sees pictures of them. He continues to have problems with constipation. In half the pics he is 8mos :)

Nathan and his friend Finn! Finn is the son of Danielle and Steve. Danielle's daughter plays on the Roadrunners with Lauren. We were pregnant about the same time, Nathan is 4mos older to the day than Finn. Danielle shares similar beliefs, organic no processed foods for the babies, no screen time, and allows as many people to love them as possible.

Danielle and Karen at the indoor soccer tournament, Lauren was running a fever the night before this tournament. We were up at 0400 giving her tylenol and telling her she will not be playing in the tournament. This of course resulted in tears she absolutely loves soccer and a fever was not going to keep her down. I agreed that if she did not have a fever at 1000 she could. She did not develop a fever until noon, it was only 100.4, we gave her tylenol and she went to play. It wasn't her best game but they took second.

Love the kids! Lauren is not pictured here she was out with friends trick or treating. She went home on Mikki's bus. Hollie went with a church and trick or treated to get canned food for the homeless (so proud of her). Nate and I stayed home and handed out candy.

This was the first year where we had adults out trick or treating? It was very odd. We went through five costco bags of candy.

We had about an hour and a half where I couldn't leave the door. So I set Nate up and we handed out candy.

Lauren has been asked out over the last year and a half by several boys. I have always held on to my no dating rule. Then Nate asked her out. Nate and Lauren have been friends since kindergarten. They play the same sports, like the same everything. I have the cutest pic of the two of them in the first grade when they both got glasses:) his parents are really involved in nates activities. So I gave my permission and Lauren offically has a boyfriend. New rules she is allowed to go on a group date, he may come over here, and she may attend his soccer games with a friend or with one of us!

Hollie was unable to qualify for district golf but she had her best game ever. On the front nine holes she had 54 with 10 strokes on the first hole. Second nine holes she had a 58 with a ten foot single putt.

Grandma and Grandpa came down from Alaska to visit the kids. They were really good sports, the first night they were here we all went to see Hollie play in the Pep band for her Homecoming game.

Second night Hollie had Homecoming dance:) She is such a beautiful girl! Some guy will be lucky to have her...

While Hollie was out at Homecoming the rest of us went out to dinner at Olive Garden. I loved this pic of the them.

I come home after a very long two day stretch thankful and blessed that my children are healthy. Nate has made the transition to his big boy room! Mom sleeping on a twin mattress in same room. Sleeping most of the night got up once to eat and right back down.
He says da da now, and is using just one finger to point/ touch objects. Thrilled!

Nathan update 6months

We are now towards the end of Nates 6month he is such a great baby! This month he has mastered transferring a toy between hands, holding two toys and banging them together. He is so cute when he puts the back side of his hand against his mouth and then waves his hand! He eats about one full jar of organic baby food in a day! He prefers to feed himself with a spoon. Has incredible accuracy getting the spoon to his mouth. We usually have two spoons because he is very impatient for the next bite and we were having to wrestle the spoon out of his hand. So now we just trade hom for another spoon. It is cute how excoted he gets when you hold up a full spoon. He can Hold and drink from a sippy cup, usually watered down prune juice. He does not poop well :( after about 4-5 days I have two give a suppository only twice since starting solid food have we pooped on our own despite an all fiber diet?
He sits unattended now and loves for you to sit across from him to roll a ball. Balls are still his favorite toy, right now he has taken to laurens hackey sack! It is cute that Lauren who normally won't share is happy to give this to him.he loves touch and dwelt books as of this last week which is a nice change from reading everyday the gobble gooble moo tractor book. He will walk holding hands between daddy and I, about four steps. Not any further on the crawling:( he will lean forward from a sitting position but hasn't figured out the legs. Great at getting on his knees from a laying position but has no arm strength.
He loves to breast feed and hates when I am not avaiable. This last Saturday I got home after 13 hrs and he saw me walk in the door. He started rocking back and forth with excitement and would take his eyes off me with his cute smile and mamamama sound. He nursed for 20 each side just hitting my face, playing with my strap as I talk to him and recited stories I have memorized. Then later got teary wishing I didn't have to work!
Ok sleeping ugggh I have not broken him of the bassinet ! I am having such a hard time letting go of each stage! Teary now writing how much he has grown, realizing that the girls time has gone by so fast. Well two weeks ago I saw this cute face looking at me ( see pic below)! Tried switching him to the crib but he woke up to feed at 1:30 did not want to sleep. Stayed up til 3:00 when I placed him back in the bassinet he went right to sleep. I am going to try the crib again this weekend. Halloween is almost here Nathan picked out a duck costume despite his dads best attempt at the dinasour, monkey, or dog costume. We went for a walk to see all the decorations, Nathan loves leaves ( see pic below)! We are all up to date on immunizations and last weigh in at 17 lbs 7 oz!

Senior! Homecoming

Thom and I took Lauren, Nate and thoms parents to Fife HS homecoming game! Hollie plays in PEP band and they sounded amazing! Hollies hair was done in a wrap around braid with the school colored ribbons, makep on with school spirit shirt.

So we were at the game 3rd quarter talking with Hollie and her friends......when they say Hollie is being a party pooper and won't go to the homecoming dance with them?hmmm we have been asking Hollie all week to call her friends and go? Hollie said she just doesn't like the dance part, she tends not to see the whole picture. She loves the rest and the girls were having a sleep over afterwards? She excited now wants to go and I have less than 24 hrs to pull this together! Enter Kris and Kenzie :) borrowed one of a thousand dresses from Kenzie, Hollie had a blast trying them on! She and I definitly have different taste in dresses. The ones she likes are way more revealing! Or too long? Then Kenzie did her makeup, she looked amazing. I did her hair. She loved the venue at Emerald Downs, said they had a suspended dance floor. She took pictures this time:) hope to get them soon! Meanwhile here is what I got!

Apple Cup Chelan October 2011

We all traveled over to Chelan for lauren's soccer tournament. Stayed at the Best Western Lakeside, love staying here! Beds are so comfortable I always sleep well and they have a great free breakfast. Lauren and her team did amazing, playing four games total. They only allowed one point in the last game, were never carded. Oh and no injuries. Saturday night the girls ran around the hotel grounds, went to the lake, pool, hot tubs. The adults BBQ dinner outside since it was almost 70 degrees outside during the day:) we even got a little burnt. In between games on Saturday girls played a two hr volleyball game against each other. Other teams would practice inbetween games or go through warm up drills for half hour before a game. Thom and Karen allow the girls to be autonomous and often our girls will break up and work on what they think needed improvement. Looks funny though when the other team is working so hard to prepare.

I took the kids for a 5k fun run in beautiful downtown fife! We invited laurens friend Ryan since dad broke his bigtoe kicking a soccer ball ( tomake Nathan laugh). Ryan is the only one that can keep up with miss Lauren! Ryan placed 4th or 5th? Lauren placed 14th! Hollie and I ram the entire race with out stopping! I hadn't run since I was pregnant and miss Hollie just doesn't exercise! Lauren also saw her best friend Taya.

Auntie Aimie sent a surprise package! A tiny wooden spoon for nates first meal it was very cute. Babylegs which are the new way to keep their knees from hurting when they learn to crawl! Now my thought is if they don't get sore knees then what is the incentive to stand and walk? So we tried them on and they look like little baby chaps!

Nathan had his first food, banana! He liked the spoon to play with and of course put a small amount of banana in his mouth, not sure about the taste! So ended up feeding him banana the next two days of course trying to follow the rules only introducing one new food a week? Totally forgetting bananas are constipating! Yep Nathan also got his first glycerin suppository 8 days later:(

The braces are off! After five years and almost 10,000$, driving to the orthodontist every other month, we have beautiful teeth:) Hollie loves the feeling of having them off. She went and had her teeth cleaned. She does have some cavities. Her top retainer is a invisalign and traditional bottom.

We got to have Amelia with us for one week while Melissa and chris were out of town! She was great, learned to make our own lunch. She was able to keep up with her older cousins. Then afterwards everyone went back to Cousin Melissa's place for dessert. Cousin Melissa works as a Nurse in Chelan's only Hospital. Uncle Dudley is Gregs brother. Lauren had to pre-qualify for her 100 meter track event. Just dad and I went out to support her.

She qualified and will be competing in 4 events on Thursday!

So proud! She practices with her team after school but does not practice at home must be nice to be naturally athletic. My concern is that when it comes to HS she may have to practice on top of school practice? She is pretty awesome though.

Sophia (Derrick and Jen's daughter) here is 15mos and Hollie 17yrs.

Sophia has the cutest personality, she is very similar to Derrick but cuter! She walks into a room and takes it over, she will go to any one. Bringing to them what she is interested in and sits down on their lap to learn how to play with it. (as pictured above)

So here is a picture of Thom and Sophia. Sophia does not miss an opportunity. Thom brought out chips and salsa sat down and sophia was right there. We let her taste the salsa that she dipped her chip in, she loved it? ! After that she and Thom ate chips and salsa till they were full. We can't wait for Nate to grow so they can play together.

Nate's Dislikes

Nate hates his stroller, swing, carseat at first but better now. He breaks out into this tearful cry when dad yawns loudly. He doesn't like his bottle and gets over whelmed when playing with toys.

Nathan is 7 weeks old, and growing well!

Nate has been eating well normal sleep is 6hrs wake up feed go right back to sleep for 3-4 hrs. Waking up about 6:30 am and then back down for morning nap at 9 am after which we have no routine until bedtime. He loves his baths with dad and will float,kick his feet, and talk. He will intentionally hit his toy and this week has learned to open his hand to "try" to grab his toys. He discovered his hands this week and loves to suck on both of them and then look at what he is sucking on. He smiles melt my heart and twice this week we were almost to giggles. We read two books every morning and like to look at his teddy bear.

We are now in 3-6mos clothing and on the home scale we are now 14lbs. Love having him in our lives.

Hollie's Prom

Hollie decided to go to the Junior/Senior Prom with some girlfriends, Lillie and Kelsy. We got her dress at Macy's on sale for around 50.00 dollars, shoes 80.00 (only because she can wear them for other events) simple black, hair we spent 60.00, ticket was 40.00, dinner was picked up by Nana and Opa (seriously generous) they went to the Country Club and Opa arranged for them to have a very nice table over looking the 9th hole. It was a sunny afternoon so beautiful views and he told the girls to order what ever they wanted. They ordered steak appetizers drinks etc. not shy about the food!

Hollie's hair was all up to her, I asked for it just to look like she did something with it. (not for it to be down.)

Hollie loves going to spend time with grandma rizzo she was spending the night at a friends house and made sure she was home early for grandmas visit. She loves that grandma will sit and play with her hair for hours and that she can watch movies with her.

So I would post a picture of the at the dance however my daughter swears she couldn't find the photographer and then said that their wasn't one. LOL she then said he was upstairs but she just didn't find him. I told her that the next dance if she doesn't take a picture she better not come home! (Jokingly of course)

Grandparent visit

Grandma Rizzo came for a visit to see Nathan! I love that my grandmother is so active in my children's lives! There really are not many benefits to being a young family but this is one. My grandma and I have a special bond. Grandparents are so important they love you unconditionally, they spoil you, they always have time to read a story or play with your hair. They capture moments that as a parent I may overlook. I love that my children not only get grandparents but also have a wonderful relationship with their great grandparents. My grandpa took them to play golf and would walk out in the pasture with them. I can clearly remember Hollie and Lauren standing on the white fence one on either side of grandpa. They must have stood out there talking about who knows what for 20-30 minutes. I was doing dishes and just watching how they interacted. Anyways obviously missing my grandpa.

Grandma Rizzo held Nathan until her shoulder (just had surgery) became sore. She said he was beautiful but didn't say who he looks like.

Lauren went to Wenatchee for marching band.....

Mom, dad, and Hollie were unable to attend since Nathan is not a fan of his car seat. We had been twice before when Hollie was at Columbia so pretty much knew the routine. I always ask the girls to take pics of the activites that I am unable to attend....this never turns out! So here are the three best shots Lauren got, usually Hollie just forgets to get pics. Lauren had a great time, she went to Leavenworth after the parade. She ate lunch at Subway..why? She and her friends went shopping. She only bought herself two cheap rings and my mothers day gift. She came home and just like her father was begging to give it to me early. On the way home she texted and said she forgot to buy Hollie something and felt bad. I reminded her that she was not instructed to buy gifts for people and it was nice that she wanted too.

Lauren won the egg hunt being very methodical she stayed in the largest room until she found all the eggs, Hollie ran through out the house. Each girl got i tunes gift card and candy.

My first days at home

I slept well my first night home but the second night I became frustrated that my moms milk still was not in! I had orange uric acid pee and decided by the second morning I would not latch anymore. Mom getting worried gave me an ounce of formula and called a lactation specialist. All day my mom would get me to latch and dad would drip formula so I would keep sucking to get moms milk in.

First week unsure how old. I only had to do formula that one day because moms milk came in the next morning. Mom also forgot that I was not allowed to have a full bath until my umbilical stump falls off and she gave me two baths before she realized it.

Thom is very proud and loves to be involved with everything. He was a great coach and has been a great father to the girls.

Lauren is now a big sister! Shocked at how well Lauren has taken to being a middle child. She said once that she wished she was little like Nate so she could snuggle in on mom. Truth be told I wish the girls were small too for that very same reason.

Hollie the big sister pro! She was the first to start using the phrase "my baby brother." The girls friday night stayed at Aunt Missa's and Saturday night with Robbi (great family friend). Sunday we took Nathan home. Thom when we got home took Nathan room to room showing him where we live, very cute. Nathan sleeps in a bassinet that we borrowed from Aimie next to my side of the bed. He slept 21/2 hours and then I woke him up to feed that first night.

Nathan James Evans

Nathan was a name I fell in love with around 7mos and with my other babies I have always just known their names. I would like to say that really the babies have named themselves because when I say the name out loud I just get a sense that they have a favorite. Thom picked the middle name which is always a family name and so we had narrowed it down to Patrick or James. Patrick is my brother who I absolutely love and James is Thoms father who is a very giving man.

Nathan was wide awake and alert for an hour just looking around at us. As you can see he has laurens lips and Hollies chin. When he first arrived they placed him on my stomach and we snuggled for about an hour while they cleaned us and the room up. He then was latched and nursed for the first time!

Aimies Birthday/MD appointment April 8th

Thom and I went up early to meet Jon and Aimie for lunch to celebrate her birthday! The food was New Orleans based which the three of them love, I had a salad and bread since everything gives me heartburn at this point. Lunch was very short by the time we got to catching up I had to bolt for the MD invited them to come with and then afterwards we could do something else right? Nope Md said I was dialated a full 4cm head is floating not engaged, I am cont. to have regular contractions but have been for last 3-4 mos. Md asked me to induce she said clinically she would recommend this since I live so far away from the hospital, GBS+ :( which means I need antibiotics 4 hrs before babe arrives, and this is my third baby so concern that I will go fast since I am already 4cm dialated. So Thom and I talked and talked some more I really wanted to go into labor naturally and was not excited to be induced. The other factors we considered: I am eating up my maternity leave being pregnant and I want to have as much time with baby as possible, my dad is staying in a hotel room waiting to leave for Mexico, Nana was suppose to fly out Saturday, and I really want to meet this little one! So we finally after a lot of discussion decided to induce rather than waiting until Monday to see if we could go naturally.

Md called Swedish to see if they are able to give us a room to start the induction, they asked us to come in in two hours. Aimie Jon Thom and I went to Molly Moon to have ice cream my favorite was a honey lavendar ice cream. It was a wonderful sunny day so we went across the street to the park. I was very nervous about being induced given how hard it was with Lauren, so I called a friend who works in Labor and delivery. She answered all my questions about pitocin, epidural, and more. We went back to the hospital and they had us wait again for the charge nurse. The charge nurse said they had eight women ( yes 8!) come in. All of them in labor and they would not be able to get us in for 3 more hours:( So I gave them my cell and said when you are ready call us and we will come in. So I start calling Aunt Missa and Nanna to give them the heads up and organize who will be helping the girls?

We get the call! In the room at 8pm waiting to be admitted! Now I am thinking this is a horrible idea I am going to be in labor all night with no sleep? The first nurse I met did the IV which I think I made her nervous not realizing it of course but I was talking about the veins that the student nurses can get easily pointing them out. She of course had to recorrect and back out to get vein to thread (I think she went between the layers) but did get it in, I helped her with taping, taking her glove off, she seemed nervous and unsure. Antibiotic started and I asked if I could get some sleep as soon as they admitted me since the pit was going to be started in the next half hour.

I was able to relax and focus during the beginning of labor, I could hear what was going on and being said but really did not speak. I spent most my time visualizing each stage, how far and the rotations the baby has to make, I counted heart rate of the baby hoping never to hear late decelerations. I loved my ice water and would drink a lot. I must have gone to the bathroom several times during labor. Then as the contractions were coming closer together I was thinking if I want to get this done faster I need to get up and let gravity move that head down. I do not know how many contractions I made it through standing but that is when the baby moved! All the sudden I had pressure and it really felt like I needed to have a bowel movement, Thom was great he held me up as I kept trying to squat but couldn't get comfortable, I finally decided I needed to push and then suddenly water was every where (Thom describes as a huge water balloon hit his feet)..I hate being wet so I then start repeating " I am wet" over and over which was easier now that some of the urge to push was gone but with the next contractions I moved into transition. I could not talk and was unable to focus, at this point I said forget it and asked for the epidural. My mom said yippee which now I realize it is a mothers need to take the pain away and she was very sweet in the early hours touching my forehead and telling me how good I was doing. In the moment though I yelled at her for saying yippee though... Ok so why the hell did I not do an epidural with the other kids??? What a fantastic option! I am glad I did Hollie's birth natural but with Lauren oh I was in such uncontrollable pain. The anesthesiologist was funny apparently she kept saying that I know what to expect since this was my third epidural (she thought I had one with the other two kids) Thom kept saying no this is her first and then she referred to me as super woman.

My next check I was dialated to an eight but then it took several hours to get the last two centimeters done. My left leg was completely numb, and I had to be put on oxygen twice for the baby, my nurse was very young but seem to know the policies like the back of her hand. Around 6 am I could start to feel the urge to push and was now dialated fully!

Baby's room

The bassinet we are borrowing from Aimie it is beautiful white wicker from pottery barn, the skirt has tiny green stars. We set it up in our room to make the first two months easier.

The dresser made it! We got the dresser the first week in April (baby currently overdue) crib they think (hope) will be in by the end of April.

Currently the walls are painted a lite apple green if baby is a girl we will do a garden theme with faint pinks and yellows. If a boy then we will do a jungle theme.

I am just waiting to go into labor, I have had a great outpour of support from friends.

Thom has filled every gap with something that I have wanted to do whether it is shopping or walking at ruston. He even went to Ikea and if you know Thom he absolutely hates Ikea. I get waited on, foot rubs, and pampering. Right now he is helping me explore every home remedie to get into labor. We tried accupressure last night which is suppose to work with in 48hours we will try again today.

Aimie lives clear out in woodinville but met me for lunch and gives me little projects to keep my mind off the wait.

It has been emotionally hard this week with the doctor saying that I will go 3 weeks early during all my routine visits and now to be over with my sister being gone last week, my mom has to leave on saturday and my father suppose to be leaving as soon as baby is born so lots of pressure to get babe out. Not to mention I am eating up maternity leave and uncomfortable. So I sent out prayer request to get this labor started and we will see what happens.

Spring Break

This year spring break is very low key, the girls are having friends over but we are really not going out anywhere since baby is now over due. Hollie went and applied for her first job at wild waves. I was so very excited sitting in the parking lot waiting for her to come out. Thom helped her write the resume for job experience she used babysitting and house sitting, she called Robbie and Nana for references and they agreed. During the interview Hollie was asked several common questions....

Why do you want to work at Wild waves? Hollie replied because I love to work with children.

Give me one example where you went above during babysitting? "I stayed two hours later to help out"

Hollie thinks that they loved her she was dressed in jeans, blue sweater and white tank top. She was one of the best dressed.

Lauren played an amazing game on Saturday she was midfielder had some amazing footwork and the usual but what I was most proud of was her willingness to try another position. She played goalie second half and even though it was boring she made a save on their only attempt on goal.

The girls got their big sister gifts early, we bought them the kinex for the xbox, great gift they have not stopped wanting to play with it all week. I originally wanted to get each girl their birth stone ring we priced them out and was about to purchase when the sales man was pushing an additional warrenty. I told him that i did not think the girls would hold on to the rings long enough to use the original warrenty. Hollie once got a ring from nana for christmas and lost it by that night. As we were discussing spending over 300.00 dollars we decided this would not be a good purchase.

Lauren went running with Taya they did the milton trail about five miles, she also spent the night at Lacy's house, Hollie had Alexa stay the night.

And the week is at the halfway mark.

Hollie went on band tour with the school, most of their concerts were cancelled along the way down the Wa and OR coast so they had a lot of free time. Hollie loved Seaside they went shopping and played on the beach. Her roommates were all sophmores that she did not know but she said they had a great time with these girls. We sure did miss her around here.

I took her out for a drive, she paid close attention, we drove around the parking lot. Practiced acceleration and braking. Backing up, turning around, and using the signals. I can not wait to have another driver.

Miss Georgia started dance and we all know what a sucker I am for any type of dance! So at 0800 we headed up to Woodinville for a 0900 am dance class!

Braces Part II

Lauren now has braces! She has two phases in order to get the full set on! The first three days were the worst for her but day four we were eating oreos. We were unable to get a picture of the hydrolic system that is mounted on the last molars that keeps her jaw forward at all times. Great fun! Hollies braces are all paid off but she has a couple more months before they come off! I can not wait!

Christmas - Our House

Santa Clause arrived in the middle of the night while all the girls were sleeping!

Thom opening his gift from the girls, this is the first year they spent thier own money. They went in together on the cost and purchased a new video game.

My girls Christmas morning they woke up at 0800 to open presents, after a late night at Aunt Melissas for Christmas eve dinner and then Church.

The best part of living in a small community is that the police and fire department goes around all the neighborhoods handing out candy canes and presents to the kids. I made the girls go out say hi and give them the departments their gifts from us. This year I had my camera handy and got a picture with the policeman dressed as Santa.

The girls performed in their winter concerts. Lauren pictured above played the flute. She said that her class had not been practicing the piece they performed and that we would notice the horns. She was right it was not the best performance but will make a great memory for her. Now for life lesson # ? When will I learn to make the girls try on uniforms, athletic shoes, etc a week before the event? The night of Lauren's performance we were driving around trying to find a tuxedo shirt that fit, all tuxedo shops in federal way have gone out of business this was not an easy find.

Hollies performance was fantastic as usual, she played the trumpet. The Fife H.S. band puts on a great winter concert. Hollie looked beautiful.

Thom and I took Hollie and her friends to Harry Potter Exhibit at the Science center. Several of Hollie's friends had never been to the science center so they did all the usual exhibits as well.

Butterfly house, which Hollie hates. I am unsure why she does not like butterflies or birds in general. She must get this from Nana who also shares this fear.

We also got the girls tickets to see the newest Harry Potter film in the IMAX theater at Seattle Science Center. The line started outside which Thom and I sat out there and then the girls joined us the last ten minutes, then we waited inside for about an hour. Here they are camped out in line.

Finally in the movie theater!

Hollie Alexa and her sister with friends gathered around singing Happy Birthday! Then all the girls but Katy stayed the night.

Here is a fantastic shot of Hollie at the family birthday on Sunday. Hollie and her friends stayed up until 0600 am on Sunday morning so I pretty much just let her sleep all day. The family party included Nana opa, papa, uncle chris amelia (aunt missa was working at the hospital), Aime Jon and kids, ron scott and michelle walker, Aunt Cheryl (Uncle dave was sick)

It was a wonderful but expensive weekend and Hollie really had a great time.

Snow storm 2010 we got about three to four inches total, kids out of school for three days and then right into Thanksgiving break.

O.k. so even though I was all excited that I found the charger to the camera the computer that I knew how to upload too is out of order. :( So pictures will have to wait a little while longer.

Hollie ~ I think all of her friends were born this month??? She has been a busy little bee with her friends, she is writing more and more, she will be getting a new queen sized bed as we are preparing for the eventual transition to adulthood! Starting to buy items that should carry her through her 20's... I can not believe how old she is, it seems like yesterday she was running around with the white sheer over her head, I can picture her tight curls as if it was yesterday.

Lauren ~ Well she has been fighting a sinus infection, I swear this child is now 13yrs old still will not blow her nose, will not do saline rinses, and will not cough up the croup junk in her airway. I do not know what to do with her! Her soccer team played in the presidents cup tournament and took second in thier district, we really should have had a shot at state. I think the teams moto will be 1 goal for every 30 attempts on goal. No one can figure out how to break this cycle.

Thom~ doing well in school, suffered an injury during work to his wrist. On temp leave for two weeks seeing ortho end of Nov.

Leah ~ Completed orientation to new job, back to working 3 12 hour shifts a week, should give me a lot more time off. Still pregnant had the 20 week ultra sound and blood work all negative. We are not finding out the sex, started filling out the baby book. Got very teary when I was looking back over all the things I wrote about the girls.

Baby ~ Moves a lot according to the literature should only be awake 6 hours of the day but I think this one is awake 12hrs, Thom has felt the baby move, Robbi, and I think that is it. Girls have not felt baby move yet. The joke is that baby will either be a swimmer or a hockey player. It loves to move from side to side off my hips.

Good news, we finally found the charger to the camera and will be able to post pics as soon as it charges... I am now 18 weeks into this pregnancy baby is moving but I am the only one who can feel it at this point. I have gained about five lbs + the six lbs I lost back in July :( Thom is funny he wants to attend all the appointments and help pick out maternity clothes? He is really busy with school, work, and coaching so thinking we may need to hire a house keeper for twice a month. I can not keep up with this house, work, and being mom. I did end up doing the blood tests to rule out any congenital abnormalities including downs syndrome and everything did come back negative :) These tests are not 100% accurate so cont to pray for a healthy baby. We have another ultrasound in the next two weeks, we are not finding out the sex despite what Thom says. My rationale... I am the one giving birth and I need something to look forward too!

Planned Hollies 17th birthday party! Feeling bad that I never planned a friend party for Lauren since we went to Hawaii and Pats wedding. Then last birthday for Hollie we did the big sweet sixteen and took Hollie to Disneyland ?? So I am going to have to find a way to make it up to Lauren. Hollie's 17th birthday we are going to the Harry Potter exhibit with six friends (I did limit friends this year), then we will take them out to dinner, and go see the new Harry Potter release at the IMAX theater. Family birthday will be on her actual birthday. Every day that weekend will be busy with the parade, thanksgiving, birthday's.

Hollie had her Fall band concert of course sounded wonderful, love going to the Highschool performances. She is done with Pep band performances, so she has her Friday nights back now. Her golf season has ended she had a great time but will not be going on to district.

Lauren has gone to Wenatchee for tournament, performed well but they came in 3rd or 4th place (we did not stay to find out). The familys all stayed at the best western lakeside in Chelan, the hotel was beautiful, huge rooms vaulted ceilings, loved seeing the lake every morning. Lauren is now playing in the Presidents tournament and so far they are winning!

Lauren's cross country track she loved running with the girls on the team but it was not her strongest sport. She is definitly a sprinter, I am proud that she cheered on her team. She finished most races between 6th and 12th place and at district place 63 out of 100.

Thoms courses for next quarter are going to be physics 2, chemistry 1, and calculas 2. Trying to talk him into two classes since he has no filler classes left.

So update Hollie last few golf matches 9 holes scores 58 consistently, Lauren's last soccer game was a win, and her track meet (we had to remind her that she has a cold) she came in sixth out of 20-30 girls. Hollie is loving her junior year and was very excited that the juniors won the spirit week. Hollie has performed with her pep band for two football games and likes her classes. She is going to require a tutor for a class this year since she made it to second year Spanish and I only took first year. Lauren is adjusting to her new school she is now at Columbia Jr High. Our school district is really unusual in that they have a pre- primary (preschool-1st grade), two secondaries (2nd-5th grade), middle school ( 6th and 7th), Jr High (8th and 9th) and then High school. Lauren is doing well in all her classes and has taken up piano this year in addition to her flute. Thom starts school tomorrow he is taking Calculus, physics, and archeology. Good luck to him!

We Are Pregnant!

So Thom and I have debated about having another child for the last three years. We love being parents but with the girls already in their teen years we were unsure whether or not we wanted to start all over. We have been hosting nieces and friends with babies over the last year to make sure or to talk our selves out of it? One month before I turned 36 I said I did not want to be pregnant after 36 and we better make a final decision. I had been running and pushing to lose weight, this apparently changed the cycle and my count was off. Our conversation we found out was pointless the last week of July.

Now 12weeks along we are happy to announce that we are having a baby! I have had terrible morning sickness (all day) starting back the first week of August and it is just now getting better. Never had any morning sicknees with the girls so of course I am thinking that this was not a good idea. Thom and the girls are very excited though. We just had our second appt the ultrasound picture of the little alien is not clear as it was flipping around and around not willing to stop. I assure you that the head was attached with all four extremities. We are not finding out the sex of the baby and will be delivering at Swedish.

Hanama Bay for Snorkling, girls did great, Thom is a fish, I freaked out could not get the breathing, saw one fish. The kids and Thom saw hundreds of colorful fish....

Pearl Harbor was an amazing experience loved the tour guide. The girls even enjoyed all the ships.

Our family on the beach, we went to a luau and when we got off the tour bus they gave you a lei. Well the boy (probably 22yrs old?) kissed Hollie on the cheek after placing the lei around her neck and she blushed so big.... It was the highlight of my trip.

Roadrunners win the tournament! Lauren played the entire last game with no substitution and she was pastey whenit was over.
