Disneyland October 2009

My favorite picture! Dad, Hollie, and Lauren. We are on our way to the park.

At breakfast they were really excited.....
and so were we........
Hollie and Dad (he is taking picture) giving me a hard time that I always close my eyes in pictures.
In the elevator on our way to breakfast and then the Park.
Favorite breakfast place was Millies, reasonable prices. They had fresh healthy food choices. Lunch varied we at at ESPN, Jazz kitchen, in the park, McDonalds (too many times). Dinner again ESPN, Denny's (not good), Millies again steamed veggies that were so fresh.

Day One at Disneyland, it was Halloween filled!
Hollie and I ready to go......
First ride, Indiana Jones adventure... Wait time 55minutes.
Thought Micky Mouse was cute!

Disneyland October 2009

Disneyland changes the Haunted House every October for the halloween festival. They do a Tim Burton theme. The inside is taken from the movie Nightmare before Christmas. These are pictures of the outside of the house.
I actually like this clock for our house?
In honor of our Theo!

Lauren conquers her fear of rides. Big Thunder Rock Mountain was her first ride and quickly became her favorite. Matterhorn was the other. We were prepared for the tears and crying which we first saw when she was nine. She was actually fun!

Disneyland October 2009

Hollie's favorite part of Disneyland was hands down the fast rides. The Jedi Training Camp was her second favorite activity and I think we all found it to be cute.

They had Jedi Masters their to teach a handful of children how to become Jedi knights.
The Storm Troopers were in full character.

Darth Vader arrived to take the new young jedi's and switch them to the dark side.
Then the Sith Lord Darth Sidius arrived! Costume was pretty impressive and the facial expressions were dead on.

Hollie would have loved to gone through the training but average age was 7-10 years old. We will have to get her into fencing lessons next.

So funny we went to see Honey I shrunk the Audience and then the 3-d Muppet adventure.
The shows were o.k. but the girls and dad wanted to have a little fun beforehand.

Good Morning Day 2 of our Disneyland adventures and the girls are waiting to go!

So scary how grown up they both look!

Disneyland Main Street, first thing in the morning it was busy!

Disneyland October 2009

I insisted that the girls take pictures with the Princesses, the line was two hours long. I let the girls and Thom run around toon town while I waited in line. I would love to say I was making this great sacrifice but it sounded nice to hang out wait and talk to other moms. One mom was from Austrialia. She was really interesting. In Austrialia they let you have an entire month off on top of Holidays. She also got two years paid maternity leave and they have a free health care system. Anyways below are my children having fun! All three of them.

When they got back from Toon Town we still were waiting so they went to get their faces painted.

Finally the pictures I waited in line for almost two hours to get.

On the pirate ship taking a break, the girls look like they needed one.
Hollie is 16 really? I can not believe where that time went?

We successfully are raising two girls and are still in love.

Disneyland October 2009

Hollie waiting for her car, see I told her we would get her a car for her sixteenth birthday. I know lame joke.

Scary she does not have her drivers permit.

Second day she wanted me to drive with her.
How cute is she! I am not eager to let her drive and lucky that she does not want too.

Lauren really shouldn't drive she is way to eager to get behind the wheel.

While Thom and Hollie were off being daredevils on the California Screamer, Lauren and I had our pictures taken. I took video of Thom and Hollie taking off, the roller coaster goes from 0-55 in fifteen seconds. They were both holding there hands up and excited. Hollie wanted to ride it over and over. I can not figure out how to load the video.

Hollie insisted on getting her whole face painted.
Thom and Hollie getting ready to go on the Tower of Terror! This is the only ride that some what made Hollie nervous but she ended up liking this ride as well. Such a little daredevil I have.
Proud of her accomplishment after getting off the Tower of Terror.

Disneyland October 2009

End of day two we went on the rides until 9pm and then we went to the shows. The park had a wonderful firework show with a Halloween theme over the castle. It was insane how packed it was in the park. After that show we went to see Fantasmic which started at 1130 pm.
Lauren is excited about going in the dark. She is always so nervous, compared to Hollie who is so calm.

It was a long end to day two, here Thom and Lauren are forcing smiles. Hollie and I rode in another tea cup and she had us twirling so fast, I almost threw up.

Disneyland October 2009

The beginning of our third day at disneyland. We were all dragging a little today. The plan to stay in the parks the whole day. We found an application for Disneyland ride wait times on the iPhone, thought this was a good thing. We would check the times and run from one side of the park to the other.
Our first plan was to get fast passes for Space Mountain and then jump in line so we can go on the ride twice. The line first thing in the morning was 45 minutes.
Love kissing the Girls!

Disneyland October 2009

The large tree house top deck, beautiful view.
My favorite view was of the girls though.

Alice in Wonderland was huge at the park. The movie coming out looks dark though.
They have pygmy goats, turkeys, and other animals in Fontierland.
