Power Outage

Thom called and informed me that the power is out in the entire neighborhood. He was in the middle of cooking dinner and so I suggested that we go out! I pulled into our development, it was eerie to see the void of blackness. I picked up the family asked Thom if he turned off the stove which he said, yes. We went out to dinner and came back to a house with lights on and a ton of smoke. The animals looked worried at the front door, the smoke was thick. The stove top was on and pictured above is what was left of dinner. It took two days to get the smell out of the house. We all had a good laugh since Thom is never the one to cook by smoke detector.
