Nate turns one

How did the years go by so fast, here we are Nate is one year old. Hollie is now 18 and Lauren is 14. I feel like time is just moving faster each year.

Nate's Friend party:) Speaking with friends it was very noticable that our life and parties have taken a new direction. The house was filled with little tiny feet running in and out. We had bubbles floating all over a yard now covered with toys. We had adult and kid friendly foods. Yep parties around here have definitly changed. Pictured here is Auggie, Theo, Sophie, Sage and G.

A key person in Nates life. How do you thank some one who loves your son as much as you do? Kris comes over when ever Thom and I are both at work. She loves little man and invests time in developing who he will become. I will never be able to thank her enough for all she has done.

Ahh a favorite toy given by Nanna and Opa. Nate and all the other children loved playing with the water table. We are so thankful also that Aimie set it up prior to the party. Mom and dad were doing the usual running around.

Another hit was the sandbox:) Given by Karen and Kris!

Love the Apron ! Auntie aimie certainly keeps him grounded he will wear this cooking with mom through out the years. He also wore it for cake eating:) We received so many wonderful presents and personal touches like Nates first picture book of family by Finn.

O.k. so I was going to make this beautiful cake with his favorite farm animals. The cake was breaking apart, then the fondant wouldn't dye right. Anyways here is little man with his store bought cake. He does not like icing.

Mom helping me blow out my candles.

I love this one!

I think the sugar high has kicked in-of course mom had to remove all the frosting so I could eat the cake.
